I never thought that I would join in the 'blogging world, yet here I am. I'm hoping for this to be something that I can keep up with, but knowing me it will peter out without feedback, so any feedback is welcome.
The aim of this blog for me, is to have somewhere to post my stories, get them out there for people to read (since I don't think I'll ever be officially published), and get some feedback on them. I'm going to work on this story by story, unless the idea is completely rediculous and no-one likes it.
Feedback on grammar, characterisation and phrasing is welcome; either good feedback or otherwise. Constructive criticism is always a good thing :).
Knowledge is power; power corrupts...
In the future, terrorism has divided the world. No one trusts anyone who is different and the people live in fear of another attack. Alliances have formed between the world's major powers, with governments watching over up to three entire continents.
Within one of these Alliances, in a town known as The River City, a small group of rebels has fought to keep the knowledge and traditions of times past, hoping to one day be able to overthrow the Alliance, but their dream has stagnated. The Alliance is too powerful to be taken down from the outside. But not from within...

Welcome and the Rules
Hi, welcome to my story blog. This is a place where I will be posting pieces of my stories, because I want them out there for people to read, and I can't be bothered waiting for a publisher to pick them up (besides, I have to finish them first...).
I have two rules:
1. The work here is mine. Don't try to steal it
2. Please leave comments. The reason that I'm doing this publicly on the interwebs is so that I can find out if people actually like my writing/ideas. If people don't make comments, then I have no idea whether they were liked or not, or even if anyone is reading them. After the fourth excerpt, if I don't have any comments, I may stop posting here and just write offline.
